It was replaced with the “Rat Pack is Back” show. I have to wonder about the bottom line of some of these theaters. Spamalot was doing terrific business at the Wynn, but it closed for Danny Gans. I think that they don’t want to pay salaries for large shows.

Las Vegas May 2011 – On the Strip

On Friday, May 20, 2011; Jim and Judy rode the shuttle from the Wyndham Grand Desert Resort to Harrah’s on las vegas Boulevard. Then we walked down to The Venetian and ate lunch along the canal at Canonita’s. We watched the gondolas pass by and heard the gondoliers as they sang. Then we walked back by Harrah’s and went into The Flamingo and walked around in the Flamingo Habitat. Next we crossed Las Vegas Boulevard using the escalator and bridge over to Caesar’s Palace. We walked into Bellagio’s and sat and listened to the pianist at Petrossian Paris next to the motel registration and glass ceiling. Afterward we walked around in The Conservatory at Bellagio. Then we walked outside and watched the fountain dance to the music from Titanic. Finally we walked back down to Harrah’s and noticed the band playing at Carnaval Court. We boarded the shuttle and came back to the resort–a little tired.
